The Orchid

The Orchid is one of only six hotels in the world to maintain top-level, five-globe, ECOTEL®-Certification and became Asia's first Five Star hotel to win the ECOTEL® certification shortly after opening in May of 1997. The hotel has added a new wing to the hotel with upgraded facilities for the Club room categories.

The hotel is within walking distance to the domestic airport and close to the international terminal (3 km), near the industrial and commercial centres of Mumbai. It also offers easy access to theatres, entertainment and shopping.

The rooms are decorated with dark floral upholstery and neutral beige colourings. Rooms offer a small seating area and work desk and are equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephone and mini-bar. All rooms feature a number of eco-friendly adaptations, such as live plants instead of cut flowers in each room.

There is a wide choice of cuisine available from Indian, barbecue grill food at the open air Mexican style restaurant, to a gourmet pastry shop, coffee bar and karaoke bar.
