Exterior

The prestigious hotel comprises a beautifully restored Edwardian building overlooking the Strand, dating back to 1889, and a stylish Art Deco block with river views, built in 1911. The two buildings are connected by a bridge.

Facilities include a health club comprising a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an indoor swimming pool and changing rooms with separate male and female saunas, steam rooms and lounge areas. Chargeable Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. There is a luxury boutique and jewellery shop onsite.

River View Deluxe rooms are a spacious 43sqm and they feature an Edwardian decor with exquisite period furnishings, carpeted floors and floor-to-ceiling windows with blackout drapes. They offer breathtaking views of the River Thames. Amenities include a king-sized bed, a writing desk, comfortable arm chair, well-stocked mini-bar, flat-screen satellite TV, additional pay-per-view channels, an iPod dock and a marble en-suite bathroom with a large bathtub, a separate walk-in shower and luxury Miller Harris toiletries.

Restaurant and bar

Dining opportunities are plentiful, with a diverse mix of world-class restaurants and relaxing bars to choose from. The River Restaurant offers fine French cuisine and an extensive wine list in stylish surroundings, complimented by views of the River Thames. Simpson's in the Strand serves classic British dishes in an elegant venue with antique furnishings and chandeliers. The Savoy Grill is managed by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey.
