Exterior

The prestigious hotel comprises a beautifully restored Edwardian building overlooking the Strand, dating back to 1889, and a stylish Art Deco block with river views, built in 1911. The two buildings are connected by a bridge.

Art Deco Suites are a spacious 68sqm and they feature an Art Deco decor with exquisite furnishings, carpeted floors and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer city views. They comprise an entrance foyer, a cloak room, a large living area with a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table and a writing desk, and a separate bedroom with a king-sized bed. Amenities include a well-stocked mini-bar, a 40-inch flat-screen satellite TV, additional pay-per-view channels, a DVD player, an iPod dock and a marble en-suite bathroom with a large bathtub, a separate walk-in shower and luxury Miller Harris toiletries.

Restaurant and bar

Dining opportunities are plentiful, with a diverse mix of world-class restaurants and relaxing bars to choose from. The River Restaurant offers fine French cuisine and an extensive wine list in stylish surroundings, complimented by views of the River Thames. Simpson's in the Strand serves classic British dishes in an elegant venue with antique furnishings and chandeliers. The Savoy Grill is managed by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey.
