Dolphin Inn

This guesthouse is housed in a Victorian building, built in the mid 1800s as a private residence. During the Second World War it was damaged and later re-built and used as a guesthouse/hostel. Now it is situated as part of a terrace of houses in a beautiful garden square and run as a small and friendly hostel with only 14 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests include a TV lounge, Internet access and a laundry service. This establishment is non-smoking throughout.

Location

This guesthouse enjoys the perfect location to be guests' base from which to explore London. It lies just a 2-minute walk from Paddington Station, which offers British Rail and tube links as well as Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect services and is set in central London with its host of bus routes. Guests will find plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs in the area to satisfy different tastes and budgets. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance of the famous Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and Oxford Street is just a 5-minute bus ride. Moreover, Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Camden Town, Portobello Market and Notting Hill are all within easy reach. It is 20 km to London City Airport and Heathrow Airport is just 28 km away.

Rooms

The rooms are spacious and centrally heated and guests have use of the many communal bathrooms at the hostel. They come with linen including duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows and pillow cases and bath towels are offered (for an additional fee). Some of the rooms feature fridges and TVs.
