Originally a wooden mansion built at the end of the 19th century, the building became derelict and was rebuilt in the late 1970s/80s preserving its original style and structure. Now furnished in a 19th century winter mansion style, the hotel has a world-wide reputation. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby area, however during the summer months breakfast is served in the beautiful garden, where it is also possible to enjoy a snack or drink during the day and evening. Location

The hotel enjoys an enviable position in the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople area of Istanbul, between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Links to the public transport network are within some 100 metres.
