Located in Bishopton near Glasgow overlooking the Kilpatrick hills. The hotel has good links to Glasgow City just 20 minutes drive away and Glasgow Airport only 10 a minute drive. The hotel is a magnificent example of Gothic Architecture and steeped in history. The Earl of Mar Estate holds many fascinating stories, with reference to Mary Queens of Scots and Robert the Bruce. Built in 1828 the present Mar Hall was constructed 100 years after the famous Earl's death. The hotel has undergone a massive restoration and is undoubtedly one of Scotland's premier hotels. In addition to fine surroundings the hotels offers the first Aveda concept Spa in the United Kingdom. The fitness centre has a 20 metre pool, fully equipped fitness studio, saunas, steam rooms, full changing facilities and relaxation areas.
