Location
Located a twenty-minute scenic drive from Dunedin city in the grounds of the famous Larnach Castle. One of the things to see in Dunedin area is the Royal Albatross Yellow-eyed Pengiun colony, which is 30 minutes drive.
Visitors can enjoy a tour of the Castle, or admire the magnificent gardens, which Margaret Barker has been working hard developing for the last 30 years.

Rooms
Rooms are individually decorated in a themed period style, to complement the Castle. Each has a splendid view of the ocean 1000 feet below. All rooms are ensuite and have heater, phone, radio alarm, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and television.
Restaurant
Lodge guests can dine in the Castle Dining room, bookings are essential. Specialties include Scottish cuisine, Haggis ceremonies, amongst other dishes.

Low rise Colonial Farm lodge, set in Larnach Castle grounds, surrounded by thirty-five acres of gardens. Larnach Castle was built from 1871 over a period of 5 years, by 200 builders. A Scottish Baron, William Larnach, wanted to created a bit of Scotland in this far away land.The Castle is full of Antiques and historical mementos.
