Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa

Location

Located directly on the long, sand/pebble beach of Amoudara, just 7 Km from the island's Capital Heraklion. Close to the Hotel, there is is an electricity generating plant, which is the only unpleasant visual obstacle, when overlooking the mountains.

Facilities

The Complex consists of a 5-storey main building and 2 to 3-storey bungalows in front and at the back of it.

In the main building there is a lobby with reception and TV room, four restaurants: the main restaurant and 3 Themed restaurants (The Theme restaurants, can only be booked in exchange to the main restaurant). Additionaly, you can find a boutique, a mini market, a main bar with a spacious terrace, a pool bar where snacks and lunch is also served and the beach bar. Weather permitting, clients can use the amphitheater as well as the Open air discobar. A wellness/Spa area is also available for your private relaxation and well-being.

In the outer premisses of the hotel, a large garden, a sea water pool, 2 swimming pools and 2 children pools are included. For your family's better recreation, the hotel offers also two water-slides (with supervision) Chairs, umbrellas and towels by the pool and by the beach.

Accommodation:

All rooms are fully renovated. Standard double room with bath / WC, hairdryer, satellite TV with music, telephone, individual units of air-conditioning, fridge and balcony or terrace. The Family rooms, consist of one room seperated by door. Facilities are same as for the double rooms. Safe in the room fee.

Meals

Half board: breakfast and dinner buffet.

For All Inclusive: full board (all buffet), thematic buffets.

Main restaurant and 3 themed restaurants: Greek, Asian and Italian. One meal per stay in each themed restaurant is included in the All Inclusive board - only with reservation.

Sports/Entertainment:

1 x per week Cretan evening.

Included in All Inclusive:

1 tennis court, rackets and balls, aerobics,basketball, mini golf, beach volleyball, water basketball, table tennis, darts, bowls. Mountain bike rental (one hour per day) Snorkelling. Surfboard rental (1 hour per day license required, weather permitting), canoes and paddleboats according to availability. Daily entertainment program, alternately beach and pool games, guest shows and beach parties. Evening shows at the amphitheater or in the disco.

At extra charge:

Gym, pool, floodlights on Tennis court. Professional spa (18 years), with various spa treatments, like chocolate massage or complete body treatment with essential oils from plants and herbs , which lead to relaxation aromas (aromatherapy massage)

External services on site:

Sailing, surfing, diving and water in the water station at the Beach.
