The hotel is located on three levels of the Nishi residential building, a sustainable vertical village' that contains within it facilities delivering the best of global cinema, independent book and pop-up stores, music and local cafes and bars.
An exquisite grand stair, hand crafted from re-used and salvaged timbers, leads visitors to a hotel foyer more reminiscent of a living room than a lobby. The hotel public spaces are fashioned from humble materials, in unexpected ways that celebrate creative imagination and encourage diverse and intimate social uses day and night. Bespoke furniture commissions, art and collected objects feature in all the Hotel Hotel spaces and rooms. Monumental land art works by Danish artist Alfio Bonanno and New York-based Steven Siegel bind the Nishi architecture to its immediate physical location and greater aspirational landscapes. 68 hotel rooms and 31 hotel apartments offer a rich mix of spaces, clothed in the raw organic beauty of natural materials to suit every guest: from cosy to meandering, no two rooms are exactly alike. The overall result is a place where guests are brought into contact with art, nature and each other.
