Blenheim Lakeside Hotel
37 Aigburth Drive, Liverpool, L17 4je
Average, 3.5 Rich in Beatles history, the Blenheim Lakeside Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa overlooking the Boating Lake in Sefton Park, the largest park in Liverpool. It is one of the original detached houses on the perimeter of the park where rich merchants and shipping magnates once lived in style. It was later the family home of Stuart Sutcliffe, an original member of the Beatles, who tragically died whilst on tour in Hamburg. Stui's Bar keeps his memory alive and is a very popular sports bar. Under new ownership, the hotel has undergone a refurbishment programme in 2011. The hotel is a short drive from John Lennon Airport and has quick public transport links into the city centre.
